KENNETH "SKINNY" JOCKEY

Kenneth "Skinny" Jockey age 64 of New Post, WI, died on Saturday, August, 4, 2012. at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Skinny was born October 4, 1947 in Hayward, WI to Lillian Bluesky and Samuel Jockey. He graduated from Hayward High School and held a certificate from Minneapolis Technical School as a Machinist. Skinny enjoyed the outdoors, loved to hunt, fish and gather as well as teaching it to his many nieces and nephews. Skinny also enjoyed playing cribbage, yahtzee, scrabble and wearing his black pocket t-shirts.

Skinny is survived by his father Sammy, brother Laramie and his many, many, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Lillian Bluesky, sisters Margaret Dunlap, Virginia Bluesky; nephews Robert Dunlap, David Dunlap, William Dunlap and his nieces Debra-Jean Dunlap and Jacqueline (Dunlap) Hren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in New Post Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7 at the home of Bodie LaRush.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Laramie Jockey, Samuel Jockey, Jerome DeMarr, Dennis Dunlap, Alan LaRush, Edward LaRush and Walter Thayer.

Casket Bearers will be Robert De Nasha, Thomas De Nasha, Joseph Dunlap, Timothy Dunlap, Craig Gougé, James Gougé Sr., Jordan Milam, Kelly Milam, Stephen Milam and William Walls.
