Kenneth C. Tainter Jr., age 57, of Hayward, died peacefully in his sleep, Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Kenneth Conrad Tainter Jr. was born January 25, 1959 in Hayward, the son of Isabelle Butler and Kenneth (Rose) Tainter Sr. He grew up in Tainter Hill with his grandma and grandpa, Conrad and Anne Tainter. Kenny enjoyed seeing and talking to friends. He loved ALL of his kids and grandkids very much, they made him very happy. Kenny was a good man and got along great with everyone. He will be greatly missed by so many people and left his mark on the hearts and lives of many.

He is survived by his children Krystin (Neil) Fleming, Keith "Hondo" Tainter and their mother Kateri DeNasha; Cheryl Tainter and her mother Sharon Gauthier; four grandsons and two granddaughter; siblings Dean (Linda), Darwin, Allan "Twig", Danny, Robin, Lauri, Dorthy (Raul) and Kimberly; many nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.

Kenny was preceded by his parents; grandparents Conrad and Anne; brother Sonny; and cousin Bill Tainter.

The Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Rev. Gary Hilgendorf officiating. Burial was in New Post Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23rd at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers were Doug Decora, Ray Martin, Allan Tainter and Tom Thayer.

Casket bearers were Raul Aguilar, Dave Decora, Neil Fleming, Jason Martin, Jeremy Martin, Bryan Sam, Dean Tainter and Frank Tainter.
