Kimberly Rose Fleming, age 56, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Kim was born June 13, 1968, in Hayward, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Alberta (Kingfisher) Fleming the second youngest in a family of eleven children. Kimberly grew up on the Couderay River near Billyboy dam on the Lac Courte Oreille Reservation. She attended St. Francis until the seventh grade, then spent a short time at Winter School before finishing her primary and secondary education at Lac Courte Oreilles Schools.
Kim sought higher education at the Lac Courte Oreilles University, then Community College, and Concordia University, only credits away from earning a degree in Education. She worked at the LCO Head Start and as a paraprofessional for a time at the LCO Schools, then settled into a career in the service industry, where she excelled. Kimberly worked in several positions in the bar and restaurant industry in the Hayward area, where she and her husband Jack made numerous friends.
Kim's greatest love was her husband, children, and grandchildren as well as the Green Bay Packers. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family, and the families of her husband, Mueller, Martin, Denunzio and Bayerlein.
She is survived by her husband Jack; sons Neil (Krysten) Fleming & Travis Fleming; five grandchildren; sisters Rhonda (Kirt) Quagon, Kathryn Dernovsek, Lori Wolf, Marcy (Tiger) Gougé & Karen Breit; brothers Michael Fleming, Gerald Fleming & Doug Fleming; many nephews & nieces.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents Art & Alberta; brothers David & Lewis Fleming.
A Memorial Mass was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2025, at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father David Neuschwander officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16th, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.
Honorary bearers were Ian Breit, Aaron Fleming, Michael J. Isham III, Brennen Potack, Nick Wolf & Wesley Wolf.
