LAEL DUMS

Lael Ruth was born August 11, 1926. She was one of thirteen children born to Angus and Jennie (Hultine) Peterson of Westboro, WI. Lael was married to Raymond L. Of course no one ever left her house feeling hungry! It was a treat to visit Lael in the summer when her beautiful flowers were blooming. She had a propensity for growing begonias, lilies, bleeding hearts, phlox, gladiolas, and peonies. Being with family was very important to Lael. She was a very special person in the lives of not only her husband and children, but also her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was much loved and honored by all, and will always be remembered as being kind, generous, loving, and as begin a woman of great strength and integrity.

Lael is survived by her husband Ray of 63 years; sons Danny (Ruth) Dums and Dennis Dums, both of Hayward; four grandchildren Chris Dums, Aricca (Doug) Van Citters, Ray (Malu) Dums, Donovan (Sarah) Dums; five great grandchildren Nicholas, Donovan & Lilian Van Citters, Neel & Hael Dums; sisters Marie Betz of Sun Prairie, WI, Elaine Mayer of Medford, WI, Dottie Hoveland of Westboro, Fenno (Neal) Riemann of Medford; brother Jim (Mary Anne) Peterson of Medford; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
