Larry Daugherty, 73, of Hayward, formerly of Sun Praire, WI died on September 8, 2013 at his home.
Larry Cecil Daugherty was born on May 16, 1940 in Boscobel, WI, the son of Cecil and Pearl (Givens) Daugherty. He graduated from Monona Grove High School. Larry worked at C & P and later Sherwin Williams in Madison as a branch manager. He owned the Madison Gun Club and worked later as a carpenter. Larry was an avid outdoorsman; he spent his later years in Hayward where he had vacationed since his teenage years.
He is survived by children Vicki (Gregg) Wagner, Albuquerque, Michelle, Louisville, KY, Michael, Sun Prairie; grandchildren Zachary, Tyler & Nicholas Wagner, Chase & Alex Maloney, Brandon Daugherty, Jessica Beranek; great granchildren Chloe Baranek, Cayden & Mason Wagner; brother Duane (Lorna); sister Sharron (Gary) Reynolds.
Larry was preceeded in death by his parents Cecil & Pearl and wife Carol in 1989.
A Celebration of Life will held at his daughter's Vicki's house in Sun Prairie on September 14th.
