Lois M. Haskins, age 90, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Lois Mae Robinson was born to Margaret Oshogay Conto and Earl Robinson Sr. on May 14, 1930 in Ft. Wingate, New Mexico. She is of the Waabizheshi (Marten) clan. Lois was raised on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation in North Reserve and spent her adult years in Berlin, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Shawano, WI, and then lived the rest of her years back in LCO beginning in 2002. Lois retired as a nursing assistant at the age of sixty-five. She cared for many elders throughout her life and was also a loving mother to 10 children; Lois "Donna", Louis, Steven, Charles, Wade, Laurie, Fred "Christopher", Lisa, Eric and Michelle. Lois was very proud that she raised her children to honor their history and culture. Lois also helped in raising some of her grandchildren. Throughout the years Lois enjoyed playing cards, gardening, watching crime shows, shopping, spending time with her family, listening to country music, going out to eat, and visiting. Lois had so much love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her laughter was contagious, and her smile brought warmth wherever she was.

She is survived by her children Lois "Donna", Laurie, Fred, Lisa, and Michelle; brother Roland; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; children Wade, Steven, Charles, Louis, and Eric; grandsons Anthony "Snoopy" and Nicholas; siblings Sonny, Earl, Janie, Chuck, Genevieve, and Gordy

Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Zac Mitteness 'Binesi' and Kaitlyn Grenier 'Nenookaasi' officiated. Burial was in Historyland Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 9 ^th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center.

Casket Bearers were Brett Coerper, Keith Ellington, Niiyaandiwed Haskins, Steven Mohawk, Dale Powless and Rainer Shooter.
