Lynn Nell Begay, age 69, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away Friday, September265, 2025.

Lynn was born February 7, 1956, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Eugene & Bernice (Andersen) Begay.

She is survived by her husband Alexander "Sandy" Gillespie Jr.; sons David DeNasha & Alexander Gillespie III; grandchildren Emilo, Alexander IV, Carter & Giizhigaatekwe; and siblings Kathy Begay, Paula Begay-Hague, John Begay, Mary "Tish" Begay & Josie Begay.

Lymm was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother Lucille Begay; and brothers Eugene Begay Jr. & Daniel Begay.

Midewiwin Funeral Rites began at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2025, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Chato "Ombishkebines" Gonzalez & Gary "Ne-aan-da-wed" Quaderer Sr. officiated. Burial was in Chief Lake Cemetery in Hayward. Visitation began at sundown, Sunday, September 28th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center.
