Marie O. Campbell, age 83, of Stevens Point, WI, formerly of Reserve, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center in Stevens Point.

Marie Odelia Jacobi was born May 4, 1934 in Madison, WI the daughter of Clyde and Marie (Wolfe) Jacobi. She was married to Ratha "Lester" Campbell in 1951. Marie graduated from Blackhawk Technical College, Janesville, WI in 1975.  She was employed by Monteray Mills in Janesville and later at the Victorian House Broadhead, WI.  Marie lived in Milton, WI, Ft. Wayne, IN and Hayward before moving to Stevens Point.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, knitting and crocheting, playing bingo and trivia. She also loved camping and taking road trips with her family.  Marie will be missed by all who knew her for her smile, quick wit and memory.

Marie was a volunteer for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Bicentennial of Indian Affairs both of Ft. Wayne, IN and at the Atrium Post Acute Care Center prior to becoming a resident.

She is survived by her three daughters Bonnie Campbell of Stevens Point, WI, Rose Goetz of Milton, WI and Kim Rasmussen of Ft. Wayne, IN; seven grandchildren Angie (Dean) Zagrzebski of Stevens Point, WI, James La Belle (Jill Tummett) of Saginaw, TX, Ben Burkeimer Janesville, WI, Candy (Andrew) Zimmer of Milwaukee, WI, Josh (Sue)Hooker of Lima Center, WI, Tressica (Jason) Hulburt of Lansing, MI and Nicholas (Stacy) Rasmussen of Austin, TX; 18 great grandchildren; and special nephew Don Gordon.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Dorothy; granddaughter Christina Hooker; son-in-law Brian Rasmussen and son-in-law Don Goetz.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Burial will be in Signor Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
