Mark D. Guibord, age 59, of LCO died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Maple Ridge Care Center in Spooner, WI.

Mark Desmond Guibord was born March 15, 1959 in Hayward, WI the son of Norma Guibord. Throughout his life he worked several different seasonal jobs around the area. Mark loved going to the Casino, playing Keno and slot machines and visiting with friends. He was diagnosed with Stage IV inoperable lung cancer in June 2018. Mark fought a very tough battle, and spent his last week in hospice care at Maple Ridge.

He is survived by his son Mark Guibord Jr.; daughter Belinda Guibord; six grandchildren; brothers Eugene (Corrina) Guibord, Scott (Melody) Guibord, Michael (Shelly) Guibord; sisters LuAnn (Ernie) Kolumbus & Wanda (Bert) LaBarge; many nephews & nieces.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother Norma Guibord; son Logan Guibord; and brother Kevin Guibord.

A Memorial Mass was held at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopeful officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation was held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, at Pineview Funeral Service, prior to the Mass.
