Mark J. Sharon Sr., age 56, of Mesa, AZ died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, AZ.

Mark James Sharon was born April 2, 1961 in Chicago, IL the son of Wilfred "Bill" and Dorothy (Froemel) Sharon. He grew up in Oak Lawn, IL and attended Western Illinois   University and Morraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, IL. Mark worked for Allstate Insurance Company in Woodridge, IL, then most recently for Progressive Insurance in Phoenix, AZ. Mark was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7904 in Mesa.

He is survived by his wife Georgette Sharon of Mesa; sons Mark James Jr. (Kara) Sharon of Shorewood, IL, Alexander Nicholas Sharon of Mesa; daughter Nicole Marie Sharon of Mesa; mother Dorothy Sharon of Hayward; brother Robert (Rhuta) Sharon of Tinley Park, IL; sister Ann Sharon of Hayward; many nephews and nieces.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Wilfred "Bill" Sharon.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13 ^th at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Monday, February 12 ^th and again from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13 ^th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.

Honorary casket bearers were Richard Froemel Sr., Richard Froemel Jr. and Nikita Spirrison.
