Mary Jane Gougar, age 90 of Hayward, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Country Terrace Assisted Living in Hayward.
Mary Jane was born January 14, 1922 in Danville, IL the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Mason) Gougar. She attended New Lenox Grade School and graduated from Joliet Township High School in IL. Mary Jane worked in the accounting department and was a secretary to executives at Wyman Gordon Company in Harvey, IL. She retired in 1982 to care for her parents. Mary Jane was the oldest member of The United Methodist Church of New Lenox, IL.
She is survived by her brother Harry (Janet) Gougar; sister-in-law Kathlyn Gougar; cousin Betty Sue Kruspe; many nieces & nephews.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Walter Jr. & Jack Gougar.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 24 at The United Methodist Church of New Lenox. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Joliet, IL.
Casket bearers will be Eric Gougar, Hans Gougar, Joe Gougar, Jon Gougar, Walter Gougar III & David McGinnis.
