Obituary

Mathew R. "Butch" Pinter, age 77 of Cable, passed on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake.

Mathew Roger was born July 25, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Mathew and Katherine (Gudek) Pinter. He grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Boys Technical Trade School as a Journeyman Plumber. He was united in marriage to Donna Russ on July 18, 1959 in Milwaukee. They resided in Milwaukee where Butch worked as a plumber. Butch spent much of his childhood at the family cabin in Cable, which was owned by his grandparents and passed down through the generations. He and Donna retired there in 2000, where they currently reside. As a child, Butch began playing the drums, and later formed a band in Milwaukee known as The Melody Kings. It was a great passion of his as his band played for many locals and area events. Butch also loved to spend his free time hunting and fishing at the cabin in the woods.

He is survived by his wife Donna; Son Roger (Esther) Pinter; Daughter Debra (Dave) Bootz; grandchildren Jamie (Cory) Millikin and Joshua Bootz, and Mathew and Heather Pinter; Brother Ronald (Susan) Pinter; Sisters Barbara Lukas (Richard) and Jeanne (Garris) Olson; and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5 at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee, with visitation held from 12 noon until time of service. Interment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park. There will also be a Memorial Service held in Cable at a later date.
