Nancy J. Hall Lorenzi, age 61of Hayward, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at her home.

Nancy Jean was born December 29, 1950 in Oakland, CA the daughter of James and Mary (Martinson) Hall. Nancy worked at various medical facilities in California prior to moving to Hayward. She was a member of Lac Courte Oreilles tribe and was given the name of Binezhiogiizhigokwe meaning Thunderbird Sky Woman during a tribal naming ceremony conducted by Tribal Elder Dr. John Anderson. Nancy was a beautiful, intelligent and dynamic lady, well liked by her friends and relatives. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her brother Craig Hall of Napa, CA; aunts Bernice (Pete) Sotelo, Joyce (Paul) Machado, both of San Leandro, CA; uncles Patrick (Dorothy) Martinson of Hayward, Anthony (Jeanette) Froemel of Gulf Breeze, FL.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents James & Mary; maternal grandmother Jesse (Patrick) Froemel.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Dr. John "Bonajonce" Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A brief remembrance ceremony will be conducted on the shores of Grindstone Lake during a family reunion this summer.
