Norman Lee
Trepanier
December 16, 1963 – April 11, 2024
Norman Lee Trepanier, age 60, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 11, 2024.
Arlene Nelson Strain and Kenneth "Kenny" Trepanier were gifted their beautiful son on December 16, 1963. Norman was born in Superior, Wisconsin and not long after, their family moved to Hayward. He lived briefly in Texas when he was in his teens. Norman then returned to the Hayward/LCO area. He loved to fish, paint, work on cars, work on his home, and he loved being outside enjoying the outdoors and playing with his dog Sadie. Norman was always known as a fun guy with a big heart who loved helping people. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything. Norman was teased for his use of duct tape. He was sometimes called MacGyver because he could do anything and get his way out of any situation. Norman was an overall great guy who was loved by so many, and Norman loved his family. He cherished his two daughters Hollie and Kaylee and his son Jacob and was very proud of their accomplishments in their young lives. He loved his grandchildren beyond words.
Norman's professional career included working many years in Maintenance at LCO Housing Authority, from there he went on to work Maintenance at LCO Casino. After that, he worked at the LCO Country Store. Norman enjoyed working, fixing things, maintaining things, and keeping the areas clean. He was a great employee at all his jobs. Norman also worked side jobs doing painting. He was renowned for his painting skills that he learned from his dad Kenny.
He is survived by his mom Arlene Strain; daughters Hollie Trepanier, Kaylee Trepanier (Charlie Isham); son Jacob Trepanier (Lyndsy Morrow); granddaughters Heaven, Haley, Tabitha, Everleigh; grandsons Samuel, Trenton, Jacob Jr, William, and Donovan; and sisters Cindy Trepanier (Steve "Pancake" Pankratz), Tina Trepanier (Jason Laakson), Josi Trepanier, Priscilla Trepanier, and Sierra Trepanier. Norman is also survived by his children's mothers, Cheryl Langston and Terri Miller, who Norman remained very close with. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Norman was proceeded in death by his dad Kenny Trepanier and sisters Reagan Trepanier and Joanie Trepanier.
A Celebration of Life was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Karunakar Madanu officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 15th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.
Honorary casket bearers were Doug Coffman, Jerome Isham Sr. and John Pete Trepanier.
Casket Bearers were Michael Ahrens, Nick Hadler, Charlie Isham, Steve "Pancake" Pankratz, Michael Quaderer Sr. and Robbie Trepania.
