Oliver Donald DeMarr Sr., age 76, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Oliver "Buckshot" was born September 17, 1946, in Hayward, the son of Elizabeth (Homeskye) and Raymond DeMarr Sr. In his younger days he loved gathering, trapping, fishing and hunting. In his later years, Buckshot loved spending time at home with his wife and all his grandchildren. He also enjoyed visiting with many friends and the occasional trip to the casino.

He is survived by his wife Barbara DeMarr; daughter Jill (Curtis) DeMarr; stepdaughter Dena Quaderer; eight grandchildren & five great grandchildren; and nieces & nephews.

Buckshot was preceded in death by parents; sons Oliver DeMarr Jr. & Joseph DeMarr; stepdaughter Darcy Quaderer; brothers Alfred, Ted, Jerome, Alex & Raymond DeMarr; and sister Beatrice O'Shogay.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at St. St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Karunakar Madanu officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in Whitefish Cemetery. Visitation will began at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 31st at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.

Honorary casket bearers were Lisa Abeita, Jonathan Crone, Journie Crone, Jacob DeMarr, Raymond DeMarr III, Cherie Miller, Anthony Miller, Jaiden Quaderer, Michael Quaderer & Samantha Quaderer.

Casket bearers were Daniel Abeita, Randy Cadotte, Curtis Crone, Cody DeMarr, Daniel DeMarr & Keith Holmes.
