Patricia "Pat" Grinnell, age 70, of Winter, WI, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield WI., following a struggle with cancer.

Pat was born in Freeport, IL on September 3, 1942, the daughter of Orville "Joe" and Gladys (Cloud) Casford. Pat graduated from High School in Freeport IL, and on January 11, 1963 married Gary Grinnell. Following her marriage, Pat helped manage the family farm and also worked at Lands' End in Dodgeville, WI. She and Gary moved to Winter, WI in 1994, where she continued to be active and was involved in the American Legion Auxiliary, served on the Library Board, and served as the treasurer for Zion Lutheran Church. Pat enjoyed playing cribbage, having coffee and visiting with her friends and family, and watching the abundant wildlife that traveled through her yard.

Pat is survived by her husband Gary; four children and spouses Mike & Joyce Grinnell, Mineral Point WI, Michele Grinnell, Independence, IA, Dan & Michelle Grinnell, Darlington, WI, and John & Ashley Grinnell, Minneapolis, MN. She was a cherished Grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the "apple of her eye." She is also survived by one brother, John Casford, Canaan NY. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of Life service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Winter WI on October 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM, with lunch following. All who knew and loved Pat are welcome.
