PATRICIA KIRK

Patricia M. Kirk, age 38, of Hayward, died Sunday, October 9, 2011, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

Patricia Marie was born February 26, 1973 in Berwin, IL, the daughter of William Johnson and Veronica (Venes) St. Phillips. She grew up and attended school in Joliet a suburb of Chicago, IL. In 1998 Patty moved to Trego, WI to be closer to her mother and start anew. Over the years she worked many jobs, from a gas station clerk to a meat packer at Jack Links. However, no job is more memorable than her last eight years at the LCO Casino as a cage cashier. Patty was united in marriage to Richard E.L. Kirk on May 1, 2009 and was the happiest woman in the world. On March 15, 2011 she was diagnosed with throat and lung cancer. After six months of fighting, she was unexpectedly taken by the dreaded disease. Patty touched the lives of many people. The people that knew her loved her like a mother, sister and best friend. She will not be forgotten and remain in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.

Patricia is survived by her husband Richard Kirk; mother Veronica St. Phillips; sons Christopher "Bubba" Johnson, Anthony Mikeal Johnson, Randall James Mays; daughter Kristina Inex Hall; sisters Jennifer Johnson, Peggy Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father William Johnson.

A Time of Sharing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
