Peter Francis Abeita Sr., age 45, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024.

Peter was born July 26, 1978, in Milwaukee, WI the son of Elizabeth (Jacobson) and Gary Abeita Sr. He  enjoyed simplicity and loved the Lord, outdoors and peace.

He is survived by his father Gary; son Peter Abeita Jr.; brothers Noah Abeita and Gary Abeita Jr.; sister Colette Abeita; nephews and nieces.

Peter was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post. Father Karunakar Madanu officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in New Post Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 29th at New Post Community Center.

Casket Bearers were Pierce Abeita, Nagway Archambault, Gordon Belille, Stormy Belille, Chaska Carillo-finn & Chad Martin.
