Phyllis Rita Marie Belille, age 29, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

Rita was born April 4, 1994, in Hayward, the daughter of Andy and Rose (Saddler) Belille. She was the proud mother of two beautiful children Josephine and DeShawn. She was a very caring and giving person. Rita loved to do arts and crafts and was very talented. She loved spending time with her favorite nieces Chloe, Ayianna and Shawnnessy. Rita was a member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe.

She is survived by her parents Andy & Rose; children Josephine and DeShawn Belille; brothers Shawn Belille, Dre Belille & Sundown Doney; sisters Nicole Frazier & Nadine Frazier; many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

Rita was preceded in death by her brother Kenny Doney; grandmother Vivian Cloud; aunt Phyllis Lemieux; uncles Charles "Bud" Homesky, Richard Saddler & Robert Russethe.

Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2023, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Gary Quaderer Sr. officiated. Burial was in Historyland Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24th at Big Drum.

Honorary casket bearers were Kaylene Bearheart, Ayianna Doney, Chloe Doney, Shawnnessy Doney, Nicole Frazier, Edwina Parisian, Tony Parisian, Faith Saddler & Lisa Wade.

Casket bearers were Chase Belille, Gary Belille Jr., Nate Miller, Dusty Quaderer, Guyson Quagon &Tabian Quagon.
