Raymond E. Moudry, age 79 of Radisson, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Raymond Edward was born October 20, 1932 in Radisson, the son of George and Mary (Toczala) Moudry. In 1952 he joined the U. S. Air Force and served until 1956. He was united in marriage to Isabell Villiard on February 23, 1957. Ray worked for Sawyer County Highway Department until his retirement. After retiring he enjoyed his family and friends, traveling with his wife Isabell and living life to the fullest. He took much pride in taking care of his home, lawn and flower beds and creating wonderful wood crafts.

He is survived by his wife Isabell; children James Moudry of Radisson, Jackie (Ron) Thompson of Exeland, Susie (Gary) Jasek of Radisson; grandchildren Nichole (Jesse) Keene of Hasting, MN, Michael (Kate) Sampson of Knapp, WI, Jessica (Jim) Spinner of Radisson, Katie (Michael) Johnson of Chippewa Falls, WI, Mackenzie Thompson of Exeland, WI; great grandchildren Sage, Brooke & Brynn Spinner, Zachary Keene; sister Caroline (Tom) Albin of IN.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; brother James Moudry; father & mother-in-law Robert & Zelena Villiard; granddaughter Collett Sampson.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Radisson. Father Patrick Hardy will officiate with music provided by Margo Doten, organist, Theresa Karpowicz, song leaders. Burial will be in Radisson Cemetery at a later date.

Honorary bearers will be Katie & Michael Johnson, Nichole & Jesse Keene, Michael & Kate Sampson, Jessica & Jim Spinner, Mackenzie Thompson.

Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward is assisting Raymond's family with the arrangements.
