Richard "Rick" A. Schultz, age 64, of Winter, WI, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at his home.
Richard Allen Schultz was born April 1, 1952 in Beaver Dam, WI, the son of Howard and Bernice (Laue) Schultz. He attended grade school in Fox Lake and graduated high school in Waupun, WI. Rick resided in Beaver Dam, Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids and Winter, WI. He spent the majority of his working career processing cheese at several plants throughout Wisconsin, including Purity Cheese, Arpin Dairy, and Simplot. He finished his working days up in the Winter area, retiring in April 2014.
Rick enjoyed riding motorcycle in his younger days and always had a passion for cars. He moved up north where he enjoyed nature- fishing, hunting, campfires, and the quiet life, and visiting with company and sharing the place up North creating memories for many others.
He is survived by his brother Randall (Cyndi), Racine, WI, their children Justin, Tiffany, Stephanie, Megan & Gavin; nephew Robert Jr. (Renee) Schultz, Fox Lake, WI, and their children Hunter & Karena; niece Wendy Lang (Schultz), West Bend, WI, and her son Ayden; step-children: Heidi Bloohm, Theresa, WI, and her children Layla & Kendra; Erik (Wendy) Bloohm, and their children Shane & Elliot, and Amanda (Shannon) Alberts and their children Aaliyah, Peyton, & Alexandria; and Philip (Nikki) Bloohm and their children Taylor & Jordyn; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
Rick was preceded by his parents and brother Robert Schultz Sr.
Two informal gatherings for family and friends were held. The first on July 16, at Robert Schultz's home in Fox Lake, WI, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a meal and refreshments. A second gathering was held at Rick's residence in Winter, WI on August 6th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a meal and refreshments.
