Robert J. Dishaw, age 53 of Hayward, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Watford City, ND.
Robert Joseph was born on January 22, 1960 in Oak Creek, WI, the son of Lloyd and Dorothy (Swenson) Dishaw. He grew up and attended high school in Oak Creek where he worked construction for several years before moving to Hayward. In Hayward he worked in small engine repair and was a heavy equipment operator for area contractors for many years. Bob also worked several years with Skille's Cranberry Marsh and Durphee Lake Cranberry Marsh during seasonal cranberry harvest. He was also a volunteer for Bass Lake Fire Department.
He is survived by his sons Robert "Bobby" Dishaw Jr, Aaron Dishaw; daughter Rebecca Corbine-Williams all of Hayward; grandchildren Kylie, Alianna, Chloe, Briella, Blaire & Halie; fiancé Brenda Beaudin; brothers Steve Dishaw of Milwaukee, Ken (Gwen Carley) Dishaw of Hayward; sister Gloria (Dennis) Marciniak of Oak Creek.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.
Honorary casket bearers will be Joe Beaudin, Barry Hollen, Chris Kessenich and Matt Orabutt.
