Robert W. Foley, age 74, of Winter, WI died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his home.

Robert William Foley was born November 23, 1943 in Dodgeville, WI the son of William and Mildred (Peat) Foley. He attended Muscoda and Madison School District. Bob served his county by joining the United States Air Force in 1962. He was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Barlow on November 30, 1963. They lived in Madison, WI until 1987, when they moved to Winter. Bob worked for Foley Equipment, Madison Redi-Mix and was a diesel mechanic. He belonged to the American Legion, Son of the American Legion and he was also a member of Voiture 683 of the 40et8. Bob was a past Post Commander, past State Vice Commander, and past State Historian of the Wisconsin American Legion.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann; sons Scott Foley, Ronald (Carmelee) Foley; daughters Dawn (Brian) McGuire of Pardeeville, Roberta "Becky" (Todd) Wolf of Wasilla, AK; eight grandchildren Staci, Terrance, Ashley, Ryan, Joshua, Kristina, Tyler and Jared; six great grandchildren Luke, Lexus, Renee, Ayden, Dechlan and Beckham; brothers James (Linda) Foley; sisters Barbara (Terry) Peck, Rhoda (Don) Blatterman, Patricia Derer; half-brothers Glen (Debbie) Foley, Michael (Amy) Foley, Thomas Foley, Alan Foley and Steven Foley; half-sister Karen (Rick) Smith; several nephews & nieces.

Bob was preceded in death by his father William; mother Mildred Welke; great granddaughter Trinity M. McGuire; grandparents Arthur & Anna Foley, Delmar & Clara Peat; brother-in-law Robert Barlow.

The Funeral Service was held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Draper, WI. Pastor Terri Blomberg officiated. Visitation was held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24 ^th at Calvary Lutheran Church and again from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday prior to the service at the church. Burial was in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner on Wednesday May 30 ^th at 11:00 a.m. Military Honors will be accorded by the State of Wisconsin Military Honors Team.

Honorary casket bearers were Alan Foley, Glen Foley, Jim Foley, Mike Foley, Steve Foley, Tom Foley, David Heath, Terrance McGuire, Ed Peters and Ryan Wolf.

Casket bearers were Jared Foley, Joshua Foley, Matt Gutzman, Dale Austin, Dahn Austin and James Chapin.
