Robert J. Olguin, 82, of Winter, died on February 4, 2013 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls, WI.
Robert Joseph was born on November 9, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the son of Rubin and Marie (Schug) Olguin. He grew up and attended school in the Chicago area. Robert began work as an electriacian, then drove truck for many years hauling steel products. He lived in the Chicago area, Iron River, MI then back to Chicago before retiring in 1979. He was a member of Local Teamsters Union 705. In 2000 he moved to the to the Winter area and pursued his passion- cars and Hot Roddin'. Robert spent many years drag racing, and cruising and taking part in car shows with his 55 Chevy. He belonged to the Woodland Wheels Car Club in Hayward, and was known and will be remembered by his friends and car club buddies as "Burn-Out Bob".
He is survived by cousins and many many friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at The Wannigan Resort in Winter, WI.
