Robert E. Sander, 82, of Exeland died Thursday March 10, 2016, at his home.

Robert Elmer Sander was born August 16, 1933 in Couderay, WI the son of Alfred and Luzenia (White) Sander. He attended elementary school in Couderay, graduated from Winter High School and attended Medford State Teachers College. In 1962 Bob was united in marriage to Phyllis Baugh. He owned Sander's Masonry and was also a masonry instructor at LCO College.

He is the survived by his sons Robert J. (Monica Williams) Sander, Laurence Sander; daughters Deb Eastman, Joyce (Alan) Griffith, Robin (Kevin) Sander-Albertson; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren; brother Charles "Mike" (Terre) Sander; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife Phyllis; brothers, Lawrence "Sonny" Sander, Alfred "Skip" Sander and John Sander; sisters Francis Whitney, Grace Wills, Joy Corsette and Dorothy Tate.

The funeral service were held at 12:00 noon Monday March 14th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Rev. Marvin Wilber will officiate with music provided by Marvin and Deborah Wilber. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Couderay. Visitation was held from 10:00 – 12:00 noon Monday, prior to the services at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers were Sam Parker Griffith, Tom Helsing, Casey Sander-Enderson, Neal "Butch" Carryl and Bob Stoffer.

Casket Bearers were Robert Sander, Larry Sander, Charles "Mike" Sander, Kevin Albertson, Rocky Aken and Scott Ring.
