Rodney G. "Dunc" Quagon, age 51, of Duluth, MN, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Rodney Gene Quagon was born August 18, 1970, in Hayward, WI, the son of Charles Quagon and Rose Thayer. He worked at LCO Development for many years. Rodney enjoyed hunting, golfing, four wheeling and enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He loved joking with his nurses at Bayshore Assisted Living. Rodney loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and watching the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR. He was known to everyone for his humor and big cheesy smile.

He is survived by his daughters Marissa Quagon & Raven Quagon; son Trenton Quagon; eight grandchildren; brothers Richard Hollen Sr., Scott Quagon & Darrin Quagon; sisters Linda Hollen, Sharon Cloud & Robin Tainter; many nephews, nieces & cousins.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Rose; son Rodney C. Quagon; granddaughter Morgan Sharlow; brother Barry Hollen; siser Jeanine Thayer.

Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Signor Community Center. Gary Quaderer officiated. Burial will be in Whitefish Cemetery in the spring.

Honorary casket bearers were Sarah Butler, Carole DeMain, Tonya Gougé, Debbie Graves, Richard Hollen Jr. and Tory Quagon.
