Obituary

Ronald L. Martin, age 80, of Webster, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Spooner Health System.

Ronald Louis Martin was born December 30, 1934 in Hayward, the son of John and Mildred (Corbine) Martin. He grew up and attended school at St. Francis and Hayward. In 1950 Ron moved to Milwaukee then enlisted in the US Army in 1954. He served during the Korean War until 1956 receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (German) and the Good Conduct Medal. After the military he lived in Milwaukee for serveral years where he was self-employed as a construction roofer. Ron was united in marriage to Mary (Huff) LeMieux on October 19, 1985 in Milwaukee. They moved to the Webster/Siren area where they resided.

He is survived by his wife Mary; children Richard (Betty) Martin, Jeanne (Jim Anderson) Martin, Susie Thayer; step-children Gary (Gaynell) LeMieux, Dale (Bambi) LeMieux, Ron (Kari) LeMieux, Kathy (John) LeMieux; 25 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers Fred Martin, Raymond Martin; sister Deanne Martin.

Ron was preceded by his parents; step-children Ed, Kenny & Marie LeMieux; brothers Joe Corbine, John Thomas Martin Jr., Elwood K. Martin, Chester B. Martin and baby siblings Gordy and Sharon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve with Father Gregory Hopefl officiating and music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 30 at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers will be Dale LeMieux, Gary LeMieux, Ronald LeMieux, Carl Miller, Richard Morgan and Dickie Patrick.

Casket bearers will be Damien LeMieux, Ronald "RJ" LeMieux, George LaRonge Jr., Billy Martin, John Martin, Frank "Cricket" Wade, Paul Obbie" Wade and Wayne "Doogie" Wade.
