Ronald J. Winters, age 73, of Cass Lake, MN, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at Cass Lake Hospital in Cass Lake, MN.

Ronald Joseph Winters was born October 26, 1947 in Hayward, WI, the son of Margaret Winters.

He is survived by several children including  Michael Winters, RonahQuay Winter, Anna Littlefeather Winters, Rainbird Winters, Charles Winters, Cassandra (Peter Burke) Griffin, Ronald J. (Candance) House, Johnny Bear House, Shyla (Boyd) Thayer, Carla Winter, Darla Winters & Ronnie Winters; sister Cindy Kirk; significant other Kathryn Fairbanks; adopted brother David Baker; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces & cousins.

Ron was preceded in death by his mom Margaret; step-father Arthur Lewis; brothers Dwayne "Mimi" Lynk, Arthur Lewis Jr.; sisters Lanea Lynk and Leila Lynk.

Midewiwin Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at New Post Community Center in New Post. Brian Corbiere officiated. Burial was in Historyland Cemetery.

Honorary casket bearers were Kathy Fleming, Marcy Gougé and Farrah Herrera.

Casket bearers were Doug Fleming, Louise Fleming, Louis "Tiger" Gougé Jr., Robert Hammond, Ron House and Jerry Kirk.
