Ruben Morales, age 61, of Hayward, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Hayward Health Services – Valley of Hayward.

Ruben Morales was born August 20, 1955 in Racine, WI the son of Jesus and Petra (Olivares) Morale. He lived in Racine and Chicago, then served in the U.S. Marines from 1973 – 1978. Ruben received the National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Expert Badge and Pistol Sharp Shooter Badge.

He is survived by his significant other Cheryl Hamilton and her son Shane Hamilton; daughters Lydia, Anita, Nina and Alina Morales; brother Robert; sister Mona.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister.

Private family services will be held.
