Rudolph Gene Tudjen, age 78, passed away Sunday, December15, 2024 in Oak Lawn, IL.

Rudy was born, March 5, 1946, the son of Rudolph George Tudjen and Delores Gordon. He was a 30-year Army Veteran, including a tour in South Vietnam, from August 1969-1970. For over 20 years, he had been employed as an Army Reserve Technician. Rudy was an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe.

He is survived by his loving wife Liz Harville-Tudjen; granddaughter Alexis Ann Marie and Great-Grandson Greyson; loving niece Chuxie Barrows and her children Owen, Zoe, Harlie & Elias; and his daughters Carla, Trina, Tami and Kimberly; stepsons Kevin and Keith and stepdaughter Bonnie (Eric) and their children, Justin, Allie and Cooper. Liz's grandchildren were a source of love; and dear friends Cathy Hastings & Lily Redini.

Rudy was preceded in death by his only son Timothy Lee.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. A private burial will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Reserve, where he will be buried beside his grandmother.
