Sarah L. Simonson, 39, of Hayward, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her home.

Sarah was born October 9, 1975 in Hayward to William and Jessica Simonson. She graduated from Hayward High School in 1994 and earned a Medical Assistant degree from WITC-Ashland in 1998. Sarah celebrated the birth of her beautiful daughter, Angel, on August 11, 2002. She worked as a personal care worker for a local assisted living facility, was a cashier at Wal-Mart, and worked as a receptionist for Ventures. Her greatest joy in life was her daughter Angel and they created many happy memories together. Sarah was a wonderful cook and had a very creative nature. As a result of her generous spirit, her friends and family enjoyed her cooking creations. Their lives were made richer because of her.

She is survived by her daughter, Angel; mother, Jessica; siblings Mary (Geoff) Pallister-Young of Nevada, Barbara (Mike) Dutcher of Hayward, Mike Prosser of Arkansas and Billie (Ben) Rengo of Grantsburg; her dearest friend Raymond Cooper, many nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her father

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Rev. Gary Hilgendorf officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Casket bearers are Gary Adams, Daniel Dutcher, Michael Dutcher, William Hynes, Michael Mullally and Ben Rengo.
