Obituary

Sean Phillip Stout, age 39, of South Minneapolis, MN, passed away unexpectedly in a car accident Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Sean was born March 28, 1983, in Minneapolis, the son of Steve and Debra Stout. He graduated from South High School where he was an outstanding pitcher for the Tigers. Sean started his love for sports in elementary school, which continued throughout his life. His favorite sports teams were the Twins, Timberwolves, Vikings, and Wild. Sean worked at Stericycle in Eagan, MN as the Transportation Supervisor. He had three wonderful children with his significant other of 13 years, Molly. Sean enjoyed spending time with his family and making people laugh. He always had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. Sean always knew how to cheer people up and go with the flow.

He is survived by his children Sophie Wadena, Colt & Lucy Stout; partner Molly Montana; parents Steve & Debra Stout; sister Erin Dow; brother Scott Stout; grandmother Mary Stout; nieces & nephew Kyree, Miles, Quinn Stout & Aliya Thomas along with their mother Chenoa Stout; many uncles, aunts, cousins & the numerous friends he made throughout his life.

Sean was preceded in death by his grandparents Eugene & Ruth Dow; uncles John Stout & Uncle Donald Dow.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at LCO Assembly of God Church in Signor.  Pastor Debbie Wilber officiated. Burial will be in Whitefish Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the church.

Honorary casket bearer were Colt Stout, Scott Stout, Steve Stout, Matt & Keith Kowarsch, Goldie Watson and Minneapolis South High Tiger Baseball Team.

Casket bearers were Mikey McCarty, Tom Holmes Jr., Joe Rainey Sr., Sheldon Quaderer, Mark Smith & Philippe Beaudin.
