Theresa A. Tainter, age 53, of New Post, WI passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Theresa "Teri" Ann Tainter was born June 5, 1964 in Elmhurst, IL the daughter of Art and Catherine (Duncan) Tainter. She attended and graduated school in Hayward. Teri continued her education in Insurance and Real Estate at WITC – Rice Lake. She worked many years throughout her life for the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Government, and spent the last few years as Director of Corporation. Teri loved to travel and enjoyed meeting new people, she always brightened the room. Teri spent her life as a beloved mom and grandma and dedicated her life to her family and friends. If anyone knew the true definition of spoiled, it was her grandchildren. Teri will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her son Adam (Teshena LaRonge) Thayer; daughters Amanda (Aaron Johnson) Thayer, Heather (Christopher White) Thayer; grandchildren Anakwud, Traylee, Adalyna, Shayna, Amara, Adam Jr., Ashton, Isaac, A'Miiyah and a new grandbaby due June 5, 2018; brother Michael "Mic" Tainter, Patrick Tainter; many nephews & nieces.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents Art & Catherine; brother William "Bill" Tainter; nephew Felix Yanez.

The Funeral Service was held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Robert Place and Deborah Wilber officiated, with Eulogy by Sherri Larsen, and music by bonnie Ruby and Rachel Warner. Burial was in New Post Cemetery. Visitation began at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29 ^th at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers were her son Adam Thayer, Sarah Butler, Teshena LaRonge, Sherri Larsen, Gary Tainter, Patrick Tainter, Felix Yanez, Javier Yanez and Marcia Yanez.

Casket bearers were Forrest Grover, Aaron Johnson, Richard Hollen Sr., Richard Hollen Jr., Jerry Mike, Gerald "Wink" Thayer and Christopher White.
