Thomas E. Barber, age 55 of LCO, died Saturday, April 11, 2015 MCHS-Red Cedar Hospital in Menomonie, WI surrounded by his family.
Thomas Edward Barber was born March 19, 1960 in Hayward, WI, the son of Russell "Buck" and Ethel "Wob" (Nayquonabe) Barber. He belonged to the Awaazisii Dodem.
He is survived by his brothers Russell "Rusty" Barber, Dan Barber and Terry (Linda) Barber; sisters Dowie Barber, Melanie Barber; many nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister Brenda Lee Barber; brother Ricky "Beanie" Barber; grandparents William Barber, Ollie Benton, Johnson Nayquonabe, Mary Frogg; niece Miranda Barber; uncle Franklin Barber.
Tribal Funeral Rites will be held beginning with a feast at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 14th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Bobby Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Round Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 13th at Big Drum.
Honorary casket bearers will be Val Barber, Roseanne Barber and Sam Corbine.
Casket Bearers will be Terry Barber, Dan Barber, Lee Barber, Will Rice, Nelson Barber Sr. and Brian Delapast.
