Timothy John
Carter
August 30, 1967 – September 11, 2025
Timothy John Carter, age 58, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Tim was born August 30, 1967, in Thousand Oaks, CA, the son of Garry and Julia (Fleming) Carter. He spent his childhood traveling across the country with his family, developing a lifelong love of nature, hiking, and motorcycles. Tim valued love above all else and was especially close to his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He found joy in sharing stories, laughter, and moments of connection. A spiritual man, Tim embraced both his Christian faith and traditional ways during his life. He married Melanie Barber, and together they welcomed a son, Ananggooinini "Starman" Barber. Later in life, Tim lived in Kenosha, where he became an active member of Kenosha City Church and built a circle of dear friends. He was reunited in his final moments with Melanie, Starman, his cousin Greg Fleming and other family members, surrounded by their love.
He is survived by his son, Starman Barber; grandson Ezra Lema; many cousins and extended family members who will miss him.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Garry and Julia; and brother Dove.
