Todd A. Miller, 48, of Winter, died suddenly on October 2, 2013.

Todd was born on December 15, 1964 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN, the son of Richard and Carol Miller. His father was in the military and Todd moved many times growing up and graduated from Portage High School in 1983. After high school, he attended UW Milwaukee for 1½ years and then joined the military and was a member of the US Air Force for 3 years.

Todd was united in marriage to Sandra R. Biller on August 2, 1986. After their marriage, Todd and Sandy lived in the Twin Cities and Todd worked for Dayton's Department Store in their loss prevention area. Todd was quickly promoted by Dayton's and they moved to Onalaska and lived there for several years until they moved to Winter, WI in the early 1990's. Todd worked as a self-employed appraiser until the time of his death.

He had many friends. Todd was a devoted and loving husband and father to his only daughter, Sydney. He never missed a sporting match that Sydney was involved in. Todd was involved in many community activities. He worked with the Winter Chamber of Commerce, the Winter Warriors Booster Club, and was on the Church Council at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winter. He was instrumental in bringing football to the Winter School. He organized and managed the Sno-Cross snowmobile races in Winter for several years. Todd was also an avid outdoorsman, and he was always ready to help those who were in need of anything they asked him, especially the elderly and young people. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter and all who were close to him.

Todd is survived by wife Sandy; daughter Sydney; step-mom Karen Miller of Chandler, AZ; one aunt Kathy of Wisconsin Rapids, her son Kent; father and mother-in-law Robert and Sharron Biller of Winter; brothers-in-law David (Barbara) Biller and Rob (Karla) Biller both of Winter and Richard (Melissa) Biller of Minocqua; sister-in-law Jill (Larry) Petit of Winter; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by his mother Carol Miller and father Richard Miller.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winter with Fr. Pat Hardy and Fr. "Joe" Shaji officiating. Music will be provided by Janelle Martin and Robert Biller. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7 at the church and again for one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the church.

Honorary casket bearers will be Dale Beissel, Chad Cooper, Rod Cooper, Steve Freund, Dave Keller, Mike Kilinski, Bruce Petit, Kerry Walters, Kevin Walters and Kirk Walters.

Casket bearers are Dave Biller, Marcus Biller, Rob Biller, Richard Biller, Sean Grahovac, Jeremy Petit, Joshua Petit and Larry Petit.
