Troy J. Hart, age 49, of Phillips, died Tuesday, June 5, 2017.

Troy Jonathan Hart was born January 4, 1968 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Joseph and Mary (Butler) Hart. He grew up in Signor and attended school in Winter and LCO Schools. Troy enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the woods. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his elders. Troy had a very good spirit.

He is survived by his significant other Sherilyn Jones and her son; brothers Dan Hart Sr. and Tod (Ann) Hart; nephews Ryan and Daniel Hart Jr.; many cousins.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Mary.

Tribal Funeral Rites was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Lee Staples officiating. Burial was in Signor Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 8 ^th at the funeral home.

Casket bearers were John Andersen, Jesse Begay, John Begay, Charley Kuykendall, Roger Mustache Jr and George Thayer.
