Valerie (Belille) Cavil, age 72, of West Allis, WI, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on September 17, 2015 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Valerie Ann Cavil was born on September 21, 1942 in Hayward, WI, the daughter of Francis and Genevieve (Larson) Belille. She was a member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. Valerie attended St. Francis Solanus Catholic School and Hayward High School. She lived in Green Bay, WI for many years and then resided in West Allis, WI where she worked at Aurora West Allis Medical Center before retiring in 2006. She loved all kinds of animals, was very hard working, funny, and creative.

She is survived by her children, Sandra (Rick) Schiltz of Green Bay, WI, Lori (Curtis) Arcand of Rochester, MN, and James (Christine) Cavil Jr. of West Allis, WI; grandchildren, Shannon Meert (fiancé Nick Fabry) of DePere, WI, Michael and Matthew Schiltz of Green Bay, WI, Autumn Arcand of Rochester, MN, and Max Cavil of Milwaukee, WI; a sister Myrna (Robert) Parker of San Jose, CA; nieces and nephews, and her cat Babe.

Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert and Francis "Tim" Belille, sister Neva Jean Delapast, daughter Renee Sue Cavil, and her beloved cats Sabrina, Socrates, Otis, and Annie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Father Gregory Hopefl officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Reserve. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
