Vincent J. Desiderio Sr., age 55 of Whitefish, WI, died Friday, September 16, 2011, at his home.

Vincent James was born September 18, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the son of Stephen and Beatrice (Parent) Desiderio. Vince loved to fish, hunt and was a great cook. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons Vincent "Vinny" (Theresa) Desiderio Jr., Jeff Desiderio; daughter Vanessa Ann Desiderio; granddaughters Karleena Lynn and Dreamer Ann Desiderio; sisters Ella (David) Green-Shotliff and Angela Miyasato; brother Stephen "Butch" Miyasato; nephews Chuck, Chris and Derek Webber; many cousins.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; brother Joseph Desiderio; grandparents Joseph & Ella Parent, Steve & Frances Desiderio.

Tribal Funeral Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Bobby Williams will officiate. Visitation will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19 at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers will be Vanessa Ann Desiderio, Vincent J. Desidero Jr., Desi Gokey, Gary Gouge', Geronimo Wade and Chuck Webber
