WAYNE CORBINE

Wayne J. Corbine, age 66 of Antioch, IL, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 23, 2011, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.

Wayne Jerome was born June 16, 1945 in Hayward, WI, the son of Louis and Vangebell Corbine. Wayne proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp during Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving race cars.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Lisa (Ponsi) Corbine of Antioch; children; Erica (Mike Christiansen) Corbine, Lindsay Corbine both of Antioch, Christie (Earl) Otchingwanigan of MI, Rebecca Corbine of Delevan, WI, Wayne Corbine Jr. of Hayward; seven grandchildren; brother Donnie Corbine; sisters Gayle Corbine, Roberta Corbine, Margaret Diamond, Julie Martinson, Marilyn Tribble, Doris Corbine-Quaderer, Brenda Corbine; father and mother-in-law Frank and Barb Ponsi of Northbrook, IL

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; sister Lucille Pettibone.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Reserve with military honors provided by LCO AMVETS post #1998 and State of Wisconsin Military Honors Team. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the services at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers will be John Rusk, Don Sheehan, James Smith and George Young.
