Obituary

William M. Gougé Sr., age 84 of Bass Lake Township, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Benedictine Living Center in Spooner.

William "Bill" Michael was born December 14, 1927, in Hayward, WI, the son of George "Peasy" and Harriet "Hattie" (Isham) Gougé. Bill grew up in Reserve and attended St. Francis School. He joined the Army and served during the Korean War. Bill was united in marriage to Geraldine Gougé and they were married for 31 years and raised four children.

He is survived by his children James, Debra, Charlene and William Jr.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Louis; sisters Hazel and Delores.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Richard, Joe, Elmer "Tiny", Jerry; sisters Heloise and Elizabeth.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Rev. Marvin Wilber will officiate with music provided by Marvin and Debbie Wilber. Burial will be in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, with Military Honors accorded by the State of Wisconsin Military Honors Team. Visitation will be begin at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home

Honorary casket bearers will be Dezi Gokey, Dean Gokey, Dominick Gougé, Gary Gougé, Randy Gougé, Tiger Gougé, Bernard Scharp and Mike Scharp

Casket Bearers will be Bill Gougé Jr., Donovan Kingfisher, Dusty Kingfisher, James Kingfisher, Justin Kingfisher, Richie Scharp
