Wilma G. (Villiard) Ecklund, age 86, of Jonesboro, AR, died on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at her home in Jonesboro.
Wilma "Midge" Gene was born on January 9, 1927 in Radisson, WI, the daughter of the late Archie and Gladys (Potter) Villiard. Midge, formerly of Exeland, WI and Sandwich, IL was a homemaker and cook. She was a member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Tribe and the American Legion.
She is survived by children Patricia (Joe) Tackett of Jonesboro AR, Evelyn Kuykendall of Sandwich, IL, Charles Ecklund Plano, IL, Janet Fitzgerald of Somonauk, IL, Nancy (Andy) White of Washington, IN; 10 grandchildren; 21 Great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sisters Gwen Collins, Edith Parks, Mary Ann Schuck.
Midge was proceeded in death by parents; husband Alton Ecklund; brothers Fred, Willard and Leon; sisters Rose, Evelyn and Betty; one grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Pineview Funeral Service with Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in Windfall Cemetery in Exeland, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Thursday prior to the services at the funeral home.
Casket bearers will be Brandon Adams, Charles Howard, Jesse Howard, Jody Howard, Jason Kuykendall, Dan Parks, Steve Parks, David Schuck and Gary Schuck.
